Well, it has been just over two weeks since I had the surgery and I am still doing very well. My weight loss total is just over 40 pounds now and I am losing about 2-3 pounds every day.
Today is mine and Catherine's 4th anniversary. Normally we would go to a very nice restaurant and have an exorbantly expensive meal, but given the circumstances, we will not be doing that today. It is really not a bad thing. We will just use that money to buy something nice for ourselves -- probably paint for our walls. :-))
I see the surgeon on the 30th and I am sure he will be very happy with my progress. The time has actually gone by faster than I thought it would but I am enjoying the time without pain to just relax and get myself ready to work again.
