Making progress

Hello again,

Well, it has been a week since my "almost surgery" day, and I have just been taking it easy this week. I saw my family doctor on Tuesday, and he has asked me to seek a second opinion before I return to have the surgery and has suggested I see Dr. Bradley Needleman, department head of Bariatric Surgery at OSU. I have also been pretty sick this week with a nasty cough, although I did have a chest X-ray to rule out pneumonia. I am running a course of antibiotics and am starting to feel better. Once I get this stuff out of my chest, back to the gym for me. I have started on the Weight Watchers core plan with Catherine and am doing pretty good, though it is a HUGE adjustment from what I was used to eating, especially since I don't have that smaller belly to help with the hunger. I will definitely lose the 100 pounds I need to this year and try again next year to have this surgery. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for me.

Jimmy
