Well this is a big day for me. After all this time, I have finally lost all the weight I needed to lose and have went through all the testing and pre-op certifications over again. I saw the surgeon today and he has given me the green light for surgery!!!!
The date is April, 10th. I am so excited to finally be getting this over with. I am very grateful that I have been able to lose the weight necessary to have the surgery laproscopically which will greatly reduce many risks, pain levels, and healing time. Also, the weight loss has really helped me get myself in a little better shape so I can walk around pretty good. This is very important after surgery to walk as much as possible.
I will update this regularly again as well as have provided a vehicle for Catherine to update this blog from her phone during the surgery day and in the days afterward.
I am going to send this link out to everyone I can think of but if you know someone that knows me please feel free to give them this link.
