Here we are, 2 weeks from the big day. I am starting to feel a little more comfortable with the reality that this is happening very soon. I am still very nervous, but excited at the same time that I am going to have this surgery after such a long time waiting.
My work life is extremely crazy for these next two weeks which will keep my mind from wondering on negative thoughts and I have already started working my pre-surgery day checklist to ensure that everything is taken care of before I go in.
Again, this would have never been possible without the support of my family and friends. Thank you all so much for your encouragement throughout this time. I will definitely need all of you to get to the other side.

Dear Jimmy ~ With the first of April just hours away, I wanted to tell you that you will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
Hey Jimmy...I have been thinking of what to say and it has taken me longer than I thought. I want you to know I am proud of you. I know how bad you want this and I hope everything works out! You were there in the hardest time of my life and I can never thank you enough for that. You are like my brother Jimmy and you will be in our prayers! You and Catherine are the best! Love you guys.
